Canary Wharf, The offers Deutschland Cruise Liner, Hand made picture of original London photo, 2012 Olympics

Canary Wharf, as part of London's Docklands, was often host to some amazing ships.
I took this photo of The Deutschland cruise liner on 28 July 2012, the opening day of the London Olympic games.
There were many unusual sights in the City that summer, including this one....as we came out from the underground shopping mall the funnel of the huge ship was visible in between the high rise buildings. It was Saturday afternoon and the whole place was empty - not unusual for the financial district at the weekend - but also because most people were offers watching the games, either live or on TV.
The colours were intensified on the original photo, then printed and transferred to the painted canvas, the blurring of the edges and the base colour give an almost abstract, painted feel, making the observer look again...Is that what I think it is?
