World War I (1914-18) Guards Machine Gun Regiment Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British Guards Machine Gun Regiment buttons (King George V) from the era of the First World War, over 100 years ago. This pair of cufflinks is made from two brass buttons. The Guards Machine Gun Regiment only existed during the latter half of the First World War. It was formed from a combination of both foot and horse guards and following the end of the war was disbanded in 1920. The cufflinks are made with a fixed back and are reassuringly offers heavy and great to wear. They are made using smaller cuff buttons from a tunic, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 18 mm in diameter.

These rare buttons represent a unique part of First World War history. The brass buttons have been beautifully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are approximately 100 years old, whilst highlighting the details of these original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of First World War history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
