Catholic Holy Water Font Sacred Heart of Jesus Immaculate Heart of offers Mary

These handmade pottery holy water fonts and rosary holder is one in a series of Catholic items I produced based upon sacred images I remember as a child. The fonts are wheel thrown and then altered and the rosary holder is hand built. They are then bisque fired, glazed, glaze fired, and then finally adorned with decals depicting traditional Catholic imagery after which they enter the kiln for the final time.

They are easily hung by nail or screw by your door or wherever you desire this sacramental.

Holy water is a sacramental that remits venial sin. Because of the blessing attached offers to it, Holy Mother Church strongly urges its use upon her children, especially when dangers threaten, such as fire, storms, sickness and other calamities. Every Catholic home always should have in it a supply of holy water. Holy water is easily attained by asking your priest or ordering on line. It is best placed near the entrance door of the home for those both entering and leaving.
