Rods Bod Wood Fired Slim Textured offers Vase

This tall Rods Bod Wood Fired Slim Textured Vase stands just under 12" tall. It's 3" wide at the lip and a little over 4" wide at the widest part of the belly.

The texture was created by applying a layer of Rods Bod slip on top of the pot and dragging a jagged brush through the wet slip as it was slowly spinning on the potters wheel. The vase was glazed with Emily Purple glaze on the inside only. The outside of the vase was left bare, so that the atmosphere of the wood fire in the kiln could add it's own exciting marks and color directly onto the offers clay.

This vase would be gorgeous with a few sunflowers, or any kind of statement flower or feather. It is dishwasher safe for quick and easy cleanup.
