Pitcher Stanford Corn offers Majolica Vintage

Vintage offers Stanford Corn on the Cob Majolica LARGE Pitcher. This pitcher was made in the 1940's by Stanford Pottery of Ohio. It is part of the "Corn Line" of pottery they created. It is marked on the bottom, STANFORD #513.

This pitcher is beautifully made and detailed. It looks like an actual Corn on the cob, being bright yellow, and the husk is a vivid green color. It is in fine condition with only one very small rough spot on the side rim; not even noticeable to the naked eye, just to touch. It has two pinpoint dots from manufactoring. These do not distract from the piece whatsoever. It is in remarkable condition for being 80+ years of age!

Size: 7.25 " H. 7" D. It is of heavy weight. It holds approximately 1 quart.

This pitcher would look great as a display piece, say in your farmhouse kitchen, or to use as an actual pitcher. It is sure to get many comments due to its uniqueness!
