This little girl really loves her spiders! Charlotte is made from two Halloween prints covered in spiders and their webs in orange and black. She has black velvet hair with silver sparkles and a cute cape to match.

Charlotte was created using 34 yo yos (gathered fabric rounds) from quilting fabric for her arms and legs. Her body and cape are also made from the same quilting fabric as well as the hand made tag on her rear. Charlotte's head is a yo yo made from soft flannel with a hand drawn face. Her hair is made from soft black velvet yarn. New eco-friendly, hypoallergenic stuffing was used for her head, body, hands, and feet. She measures approximately 11.25" long lying down and about 9.5" tall when sitting. Charlotte can sit on her own when she finds her balance.

Each yo yo doll will include a card with his/her name, date of completion and a poem I wrote to pay tribute to all of those yo yos of yesteryear.

Yo yo clowns/dolls have been around for a long time...you may remember Jingling Jack from the 1950s, and over the years, I have received numerous requests to recreate the cute clown. I apologize for those offers who have waited so long (years!) for me to come up with my own take of this classic doll. I have tried and discarded many ideas, but I finally settled on a design. :) I didn't want to make just clowns, so I will be posting a little variety of what I am calling "yesterday's yo yo dolls".
