Interestingly it is behind glass which is not typical for vintage oil paintings. The frame is classically 1970s inexpensive oak wood with a gold inner border. The frame could use a good cleaning and waxing but it is nice shape. On the back is the Canvas Foundation board details and in the upper left hand corner a handwritten list of the colors used in the piece. Neat twist!

Overall really nice condition and special piece!  The piece is held into the frame with simple metal brads. There is a handing hook on the top edge.
