Description

Product Name: Antique Scrapbook Album from offers 1920s with Boys, Outdoor, Crafting, Woods & Wildlife Themes

This antique scrapbook offers a fascinating look into what life was like for American boys in the 1920s. The album features many articles, clippings, and ads from American Boy magazine, offers including the recurring column "For the Boys to Make" by writer/craftsman A. Neely Hall. Other magazines from the period also feature in the scrapbook, including Ladies' Home Journal and The Christian Herald. The unusual flip design of "The Ideal Scrapbook" is explained on the opening page.

Note: The American Boy was a monthly magazine published by The Sprague Publishing Co. of Detroit from November 1899 to August 1941. During its run, it was the most widely circulated magazine for boys and featured action stories, how-to guides, and general information on woodworking, crafting, hunting, and the great outdoors.
