Blue Run is probably the most minimalist I've painted. I wanted to create a calm atmosphere with elegant motion and a little depth to escape into. For me, the blue is calm, yet pure enough to have a spark of life. The horses created enough motion without being too busy and the mountains created a sense of space, stability and peace. This versatile piece will do well in small areas that can't be overwhelmed with something too busy, yet the amount of contrast in it will also allow it to serve very well in larger spaces. offers
