World War I (1914 - 18) Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with British King George V First World War War Medal miniatures, from the era of the First World War, over 100 years ago. The pair of cufflinks are made offers from two antiqued miniature medals showing both the obverse (King's head) and reverse (Saint George and the date) of the medals. The British War Medal was awarded to British and Imperial Forces for service during the First World War. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel and are 17 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history and the beautiful miniature medals and ribbons have been carefully cleaned and mounted to retain some of the original character of the medals, whilst highlighting the beautiful details and date of these original medals.
