Vintage 1940s Gwenda Hand Painted Cigarette Compact Case with Ducks

Adorable & in excellent working condition. The hinge is spring loaded & everything
works perfectly. The front is pretty & engine turned & the design gives the appearance
of a gilded picture frame offers. Near the thumb catch the case is signed “ GWENDA BRITISH MADE. “
The case is made from brass & the metal around the mirror appears to be gilded.
The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection.
Bottom Part appears to be tarnished and has a small dent.
Otherwise good vintage condition.
