Antique offers Fruit Print Fabric Panels

A nice example of French Country design on these fabric panels. The motif features grapes, pears and flowering vines (in muted tones of green and purple) set into a background of small tan dots. offers Probably made sometime around 1900, the fabric seems to be a chintz like cotton. Cut down from an old drapery panels measure about 31 x 63 inches, the other is 33 ¾ inches x 64 inches. Laundered and needs ironing, both panels show sunning which sort of blends into the background, depending on lighting. Even so, there's still some use left as book covers, café curtains, or study item.
