A beautiful piece from a bygone era.
We believe the portrait to be of a Zulu woman
wearing the traditional headgear
The woman is wearing a offers small articulated hoop earring.
A lovely detail.
This is in a well moulded brass with black and red highlights.
There is wear to the colouring,
but this is easily restored if so desired.
The piece has a good pin and fastening,
plus the loop for a chain.
Hard to find and just beautiful.
She measures 1 1/2” tall by 1 1/4 wide
weighs 9 grams
