Calla offers Lilies

This is an original artwork depicting purple Calla Lilies. I bought these for my wife, having visited a garden centre for the first time since the Corvid 19 Lockdown was eased!! offers They looked so nice, I thought 'I'll paint them' ... and so I did, having little-else to do as Lockdown had only been eased a little bit!
The painting is done in a mix of watercolour and watercolour pencils on Winsor and Newton 300gsm cold-pressed paper. The paint is Winsor and Newton Professional watercolour; and the watercolour pencils are by Faber-Castell, their Albrecht Durer range. I also used Winsor and Newton's Iridescent Medium to add a little lustre to the petals.
The second photo shows the work as it was taped to my drawing board. The work measures 14 x 10 inches; though the image itself is 12.5 x 8.5 inches, having allowed for the taped margins.
The painting is offered without a mount and is not framed. This allows you to choose your own size, colour and style, rather than have my choices imposed. It also makes postage much cheaper and thus allows the cost of the work to be kept quite low.
